• Role: Sales

• Visa: US citizen/visa only

You'd own a full slice of Standout end-to-end. Not just selling, but shaping how the company finds, wins, and grows relationships with the best startups and talents in the world.

You'd work directly with founders, hiring managers, and top-tier candidates. You'd understand what makes someone exceptional, what a company actually needs, and make the introductions that matter. You'd close deals and help define the go-to-market motion: outbound, inbound, partnerships, positioning, and how an AI-native recruiting company should actually operate.

The job is to make Standout impossible to ignore. Most recruiting firms feel transactional. Most outbound feels like spam. Ours shouldn't. The bar: a founder talks to Standout once and feels we understand their company better than recruiters they've worked with for years.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a quota-carrying or selling role (BDR/SDR background is a plus)
- Background in a startup, big tech (Google, AWS, Azure), or a tech sales team where you ran full-cycle deals
- At least 1 year at your current company
- Based in SF or Caltrain-accessible, and in the office 5 days a week
- Authorized to work in the US, no visa sponsorship needed

You're a fit if
- You create momentum from nothing and sell a vision before the company fully exists
- You're great with people and highly analytical
- You have taste in startups, talent, and communication
- You're relentless about follow-up and keeping relationships warm
- You move fast, improvise fast, and learn fast
- You've done founder-led sales, recruiting, partnerships, or something where trust and persuasion mattered - You need a playbook or want to inherit a mature sales org - You optimize for process over outcomes - You think recruiting is just matching resumes to job descriptions - You're uncomfortable with ambiguity or intensity You'll work directly with the founders on everything from closing startups to refining positioning, building outbound systems, and onboarding clients.
