Founding Creative Generalist
Own every piece of media Rhem puts into the world, from the Kickstarter launch film to the brand itself. You report directly to the founders.
You will be the creative department at Rhem Labs. That doesn't mean managing an agency or reviewing decks. It means taking everything Rhem publishes from first concept through script, shoot, edit, and release. This is a hands-on filming role: you'll be behind the camera and in the edit for nearly everything we make. Almost everything in this market looks like medical equipment: gray plastic, stock photos, brochure language. The company that wins this category will be the one families actually love, and that is a creative problem as much as an engineering one. You'll work directly with the two founders, with no creative layers above or below you. You get complete creative freedom, and everything that ships is yours.
What you'll do
- Shoot and edit the launch film and Kickstarter campaign media from blank page to published: the hero video, product photography, campaign page visuals, GIFs, and demo footage. You'll operate the camera and cut the footage yourself rather than directing someone else who does.
- Film a physical robot in real homes with real families. You'll plan the shoots, handle lighting and sound on location, and make a piece of hardware look alive on camera.
- Define Rhem's brand world: a visual and narrative identity that makes a home health robot feel warm rather than clinical.
- Produce ongoing content: social, ads, UGC direction with influencers, tech press assets, and investor-facing visuals.
- Own the production pipeline itself. You choose the tools, the workflow, and the collaborators, whether that's AI production tools, traditional production, or a mix. The work has to be exceptional and it has to ship.
