We make gene editing easy for all crops. To make pesticides obsolete across vegetables and fruits, enabling coffee to withstand heat waves, making almonds independent of pollinators, pistachios independent of winter chill, and much more. To let breeders create novel, consumer-facing crop varieties like pink pineapples, seedless cherries, and non-browning avocados.

Matúš Grieš — Founder/CTO
Co-founder & CTO at Nitroduck (YC F26). I co-led iGEM Brno 2025 to Grand Prize against 330 teams including Stanford and Oxford. I worked at Karolinska Institutet (Amgen Scholars), building nanoparticles for drug delivery to placenta and at CEITEC, where I demonstrated plant telomere proteins bind human DNA more tightly than their own. I'm a National Decathlon Champion and 13x silver medalist in triple jump and high jump.
