Autonomous medical billing

Taiga automates medical billing for doctor's offices. A doctor uploads their visit data, our AI figures out the right billing codes, checks the claim for errors, and submits it to insurance, dealing with any denials. Faster billing, fewer rejected claims, less busywork.

We're Nanda and Adam, friends since 3rd grade. Both of our parents are doctors with their own practices, and billing was always a source of stress and lost revenue for them. We want providers to treat patients while we handle the rest.

Founders

Nanda Guntupalli — Founder/CEO

Nanda grew up doing billing at his parents' medical practice, giving him firsthand experience with the broken revenue cycle process Taiga is fixing. He published research in IEEE and patented a transformer design deployed across the East Coast, both at 16. While at the University of Pennsylvania, he worked at Refresh (YC P25), where he built RL environments for operating EHRs.

Adam Wax — Founder/CTO

Adam co-founded Taiga after growing up working at his parents’ medical practice and seeing how billing kept staff from focusing on patient care. Previously, while studying CS and math full-time, he worked full-time at Refresh (YC P25), building healthcare RL environments that helped secure a $2M frontier AI lab contract. He also built CMS workflows at Hearst used by 2,600+ editors across major media brands.
