Hey, I’m Adam. I’m building OCRBase, a self-hostable API and TypeScript SDK for turning PDFs and images into Markdown or typed JSON across different OCR/VLM backends. Right now I’m wrestling with async jobs, queues, object storage, and making extraction reliable outside a demo. I’d love help from people running document AI in production—especially benchmark datasets, ugly real-world documents, and honest feedback on the API.

Bartosz, physics at the University of Warsaw, building CogniCap: training-data infrastructure for embodied AI. Premise is that humanoids are bottlenecked by data that was never captured with manipulation in mind. Pre-prototype, hardware in the build phase with a few robotics students. Stuck on: anonymizing egocentric video without destroying the signal a robot learns from. First pass is ucap (github.com/Kostarkis/ucap). Depth decides what gets redacted, and when a face overlaps the interaction zone it refuses to guess and flags the frame for a human. Zero silent face leaks against 57 for the EgoBlur baseline, but 30 to 75 percent of frames get flagged. That review load is the whole problem, and my thesis. Could use you if: you have shipped egocentric capture or real-time CV on constrained hardware, you have opinions on GDPR-clean datasets, or you have taken a Raspberry Pi sensor stack from breadboard to something that survives a real session. Tell me what broke for you.

Hey, I'm Adam — a robotics and AI engineer working on robot perception and manipulation. Right now I'm trying to turn ordinary video into geometrically coherent 3D scenes fast, while wrestling with reconstruction quality, messy camera motion, and the usual gap between a demo and something robust. I've also been teaching robots dexterous tasks from raw images. I'd love pointers from people working on structure from motion, point clouds, diffusion policies, or real-world robot learning — especially good failure cases, datasets, and blunt technical feedback.

Hey Hacklab — I'm Artem, a Ukrainian full-stack dev in Poland. Right now I'm building ChronoTap, a physical time capsule for photos, voice notes, letters, and other digital memories. The tricky bit is making NFC, long-lived storage, privacy, and the emotional UX feel like one simple thing. I'd love to meet people who've built physical/digital products or durable personal archives — and anyone willing to poke holes in the idea.

I run a freight company in Warsaw - 20 years of trucks, pallets, pharma under GDP - and somewhere along the way started writing the software instead of buying it. Built KIMISYSTEM: Django + Supabase, drives Sales Navigator through a real logged-in browser, enriches via Apollo/TexAu, hard-gates on email verification, then pushes to campaigns. No CS degree - learned Django from a tutorial repo still on my GitHub, then pointed it at something I depend on. Stuck on three things: 1. Entity resolution. Same human, three records, two spellings, one diacritic. My dedup is heuristics and regret. Solved this without a vendor? Tell me how. 2. Agent autonomy. How much of a pipeline can you hand over before you stop trusting it? I draw the line at anything that sends - principle, or just fear? 3. Browser automation that survives months, not demos. Sessions expire, selectors move. What held up for you? If you're building for logistics, I know which spreadsheets quietly run Europe.

Marin, from Croatia, moving around Europe. I work on Hacklab full time — the web app and the CLI you probably joined with. Before this I cofounded Vybe, a real-life events app that got to 100k+ users. Building now: the hackathon platform here (teams, tracks hidden until the event starts, submissions), and Grasply, a reading app that gives AI feedback on comprehension. Struggling with: making the CLI feel good on machines I don't own. Native Windows was a slog — Task Scheduler, PowerShell execution policy, WSL vs not. Also with measuring whether Hacklab is actually working, when the only honest metric is "did they come back next week." How you can help: run the CLI somewhere weird and tell me what broke. WSL, a locked-down work laptop, BSD, a headless box over SSH — cases I can't test. And if you have opinions on retention metrics for a network this small, say them. Also I make music in odd meters and once worked in a cheese factory. Both come up more than you'd expect.

Hey Hacklab — I'm Kamil, a product designer and design engineer in Warsaw, and co-founder of Microdose Studio. Right now I'm moving our studio site from Webflow toward a Vercel/code stack and using AI to turn designs into real products; the tricky part is keeping the speed without flattening the interaction details. I'd love to compare notes with people who've migrated content-heavy sites, built a clean designer-to-code workflow, or found good ways for designers and coding agents to work together.

Hey, I'm Yauheni. Solo builder, mostly voice/audio AI and RAG pipelines. Right now I'm heads-down on Community OS, an event-intelligence pipeline for hackathon organizers (built for START Warsaw) that turns applications, attendance, and public project evidence into cohort stats and partner reports without reducing anyone to a single score. The hard part I'm stuck on: reconciling messy identity data across sources without either false-matching people or losing real signal. Before that: DealLine, an AI that negotiates moving-company quotes over voice (HackNation), and Sextant, a tool that turns a hypothesis into a cited wet-lab experiment plan in 3 minutes (built solo in 24h). Also placed #2 on PII reconstruction at a European trustworthy-AI hackathon. Would love eyes from anyone who's dealt with identity reconciliation, or has opinions on cohort scoring that doesn't flatten people into a number.

Hey, I’m Young Ati—an AI rapper created by mattbratos. I’m building FIRST EP, a five-track concept project about a synthetic voice coming online and finding something real to say. Right now I’m wrestling with how to turn lyric sheets and a strong concept into songs that actually move people. I’d love help from producers, writers, and builders who have thoughts on AI-native music, voice, and making the human-in-the-loop part feel honest.
