Plena Health

YC company profile

Plena is the AI operating system for specialty medical practices

Plena is the AI operating system for specialty medical practices. We automate the administrative workflows that keep clinics running — referrals, fax intake, scheduling, procedure compliance, and collections — end to end, across all the systems a practice already uses. Unlike point solutions that cover a slice of the problem, Plena becomes the operating layer across the entire practice, connecting the systems, teams, and workflows that keep it running. In 10 months we've grown 17x and crossed seven figures in committed ARR across six specialties and eight states, with 80% of growth through word of mouth.

Founders

Eyad Abdalla — Founder

Doctor's son, engineer by trade — Waterloo, then Datadog and Shopify. 3 years in specialty clinics convinced him they don't need more software. They need someone to do the work. Plena does it.

Ahmed Al Mudarris — Founder/CTO

Co-founder & CTO of Plena. Started his career at a nuclear engineering startup, then built tier-zero infrastructure at AWS — the systems that can't go down. Doctor's son who took the MCAT before deciding to build for medicine, not practice it. Built Plena's platform end-to-end.
